- All teams submitted for pre-screening will be reconsidered as special invite to the HKUST's annual entrepreneurship competition 2027 Round 1*

* T&C applies. Ideally, each team should have at least 1 UST member in order to join the competition or program; if winning teams do not have any HKUST students or alumni, there will be matching platform/activity provided by HKUST Entrepreneurship Center to find HKUST members

(1) All winning team(s) with HSUHK members can have direct entrance to the final round of HSUHK Entrepreneurship Challenge 2027 (E-Challenge). 

* To be eligible, the winning team(s) must submit a formal application with the same project and fulfil all competition requirements.

(2) The team leader of the E-Challenge MUST be HSUHK student.

(3) Direct admission to CIE's Start‑up Explorers – Premiere Membership.

Fast track to Lingnan University's funding support programmes including but not limited to:

- Lingnan University Entrepreneurship Fund (up to HKD500,000);

- Student Entrepreneurial Exploration Development (SEED) Fund (up to HKD30,000); and

- Innovation and Impact Fund (up to HKD30,000).

All winning team(s) with THEi students or graduates can be admitted to the final round of "THEi - Lions Clubs Enterprise Start-Up Competition (Innov8 Competition)"*

*To be entitled to participate in the Innov8 Competition, all winning teams MUST submit formal applications with the same project and fulfil the Innov8 Competition requirements.

All shortlisted and winning teams may be granted with AWS Activate benefits, credits total up to US$25K, or even higher credit tiers, based on qualifications by AWS, our program's Tech Enabler.

Hong Kong Summit Fast-Track Quotas

• 2 guaranteed quotas will be awarded to the winning teams from the Sustainability & ESG category. These teams will be directly advanced to the Hong Kong Summit Round.

• 1 additional quota will be allocated based on the Hult Prize evaluation. While further quotas may be considered depending on the startup assessment, we would like to confirm at least one guaranteed allocation at this stage.
